Don’t Forget to Register Your Tenant
Did you know? Section 2.02 of the Development Area Declaration outlines the Association’s rental provisions. If you choose to lease your home, you are required to register your rental information with the Association.
To make this process simple and convenient, the Association provides an easy-to-complete digital Tenant Registration Form for all owners who lease their property.
Why is Tenant Registration Required?
The primary purpose of the Tenant Registration Form is to:
Provide the Association with current tenant contact information
Acknowledge that the Owner has reviewed and understands the applicable rental provisions
Authorize the tenant’s use of community amenities
Confirm that the Owner understands that they remain responsible for the actions and compliance of their tenant(s)
This process helps ensure clear communication and accountability while supporting the smooth operation of the community.
What Do the Governing Documents Say?
Section 2.02 of the Development Area Declaration states, in part, that homes may be leased for residential purposes only, must have a minimum lease term of six (6) months, and that owners are required to provide notice of any lease to the Association within ten (10) days of the lease effective date.
