Home Modification Process

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW PROCESS
Architectural review requests are submitted to the Reviewer on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
 
Applications must be submitted by noon on the Wednesday before the upcoming Tuesday meeting. This allows the management team to review the application for completeness and follow up on any additional information if needed to properly prepare for the ARC meeting with the committee. 
*Please note that applications submitted after noon on Wednesday will be added to the following ARC meeting agenda following the upcoming meeting.*

  • $500.00 refundable deposit is required and, must be submitted with your application (Drop off your check in person at the Travisso office.)
  • $1,500.00 refundable deposit is required for any project requesting access through the green belt or HOA land.
  • Approvals are emailed to the homeowner within three business days after the meeting
 
1.      Submittal Process
  • $500 or $1,500 refundable check included in the packet
  • Received no later than the Friday before the meeting when the application will be reviewed 
  • Plat plan of the lot with the location of the proposed improvement, distance to setbacks, and property lines noted in feet.
  • Applications and supporting documents submitted via email must be combined into one PDF document or the application may be submitted to the Association office. JPEGs or pictures of applications will not be accepted and will be returned to the owner.
2.      Final inspection requirements
  • Once homeowner completes a project they are responsible for contacting the Association office for final inspection 
  • Must be within 7 days of completion
3.      Refundable deposit information
  • ACC deposits are deposited after the application is approved. The deposit is released once your project has passed the final inspection. Refunds are processed on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month (for projects inspected the previous week). You can expect your deposit check via mail approximately ten (10) business days after the request is processed. In order to ensure that you receive the full refund, please adhere to the design that was approved by the Travisso Reviewer.
 

Home Modification Request Portal

Please use the following link to submit your home modification request. You can fill out the application and upload all of your documents using this portal. No paper applications will be accepted, you must use this portal.
 
 
You must provide a refundable deposit check made out to Travisso Community when you submit your application.  Applications will not be presented to the Review Committee before receiving the deposit.
  • Pools accessing the greenbelt or common areas for work must submit a $2,000 refundable deposit check
  • All other projects must submit a $500 refundable deposit check
Please bring your check to the Palazzo Clubhouse during business hours, Monday through Friday 9 am-5 pm, or drop it off after hours using the brown payment drop box to the left just inside the Palazzo lobby doors.

So you are ready to start a home project in Travisso? By following these guidelines and locating the necessary materials to prepare your plan, you can help yourself to make the process efficient and simple. As in most things, preparedness is the key!
 
Which improvements need architectural approval?
All improvements made on the exterior of the home: paint color change, fencing, walls, patios, pool, play equipment - including trampolines and basketball goals, landscaping, additions, flagpoles, solar devices, flatwork, etc. See our community Design Guidelines for specifics.
 
What is the ACC refundable deposit fee?
The refundable compliance deposit is to ensure complete compliance with the plans approved by the Architectural Committee. All compliance deposits will be refunded upon Final Review by CCMC.
 
How do I know what is allowed in my community?
Read the rules and regulations pertaining to your community. These are available on your community website (without a login!). Please provide them to your contractor as well, as compliance with the rules is the responsibility of the Association member. If you do not understand the documents after you have read them, contact your community manager for more information.
 
Where do I get the forms that I need to get started?
The Travisso ACC Forms and Designs Guidelines are found on the community website. Contact us if you have any questions regarding a project or the ACC process.
 
Where do I need to submit my application?
All applications are processed through the Association email, travissoacc@ccmcnet.com. Only complete applications submitted with a refundable deposit will be processed. Please check to ensure your application meets all submission requirements in order to save time in getting your project reviewed.
Prior to emailing your application, please be sure all pages, digital images, etc. are combined into one PDF document, not multiple pages. Please note: payment for the refundable compliance deposit must be received in order to begin your review process. Deposits must be dropped off at the Palazzo office Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM. You can also drop off or mail your refundable deposit to 2437 Travisso Parkway, Leander TX 78641
 
What do I need to submit?
  • Survey/Site Plan with proposed improvements drawn on the plan 
  • Architectural Modification Application 
  • Neighbor Awareness Form (for pools and structures)
  • Pool Addendum (if applicable)
  • Pictures of your project or your project goals
  • Samples of materials to be used (if applicable)
  • The refundable deposit fee of $500, made payable to Travisso Community
    • deposits may be waived for smaller landscape projects and fence projects; with the approval of the ACC committee
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that plan submittals are complete.
  • Complete application must be received by Wednesday at noon to be considered for the next available meeting.
 
How long will it take to get a response to my plan?
The Architectural Review meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Any requests for additional information needed by the Architectural Reviewer, as well as a final approval or denial letter, will be emailed to you within three business days of the Architectural Review meeting.
