Home Modification Process

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW PROCESS
 
Architectural Modification Applications are reviewed by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
 
Applications must be submitted by noon on the Wednesday before the upcoming ARC meeting. This allows the management team time to check for completeness and request any missing information. Applications submitted after the Wednesday noon deadline will be added to the following ARC meeting agenda.
 
Please review the Design Guidelines to understand what is permitted in the Travisso Community. The Design Guidelines, application forms, Neighbor Awareness Form, and full submission instructions are available on the Travisso Association Community website.
 
Refundable Compliance Deposits
  • $500 deposit for standard projects
  • $1,500 deposit for projects requiring access through greenbelt or HOA land
Deposits must be submitted in person at the Palazzo Amenity Center office.
Approval decisions are emailed to homeowners within three business days after the ARC meeting.
 
1. Submittal Process
  • Submit a $500 or $1,500 refundable check at the Palazzo Amenity Center office
  • Deposit and application must be received no later than the Wednesday before the ARC meeting
  • Provide a survey of the lot showing the proposed improvement, including distances to setbacks and property lines
  • Complete the online application and upload all supporting documents
 
2. Final Inspection
  • Once your project is complete, email multiple pictures of the completed project to TravissoACC@ccmcnet.com.
  • Inspection must occur within 7 days of completion.
 
3. Refundable Deposit
  • Your deposit is released after your project passes the final inspection.
  • To ensure a full refund, the project must match the design approved by the Travisso Reviewer.

If you would like to make a home modification, please complete this application.
 
All applications are processed through TravissoACC@ccmcnet.com, so please watch for emails from this address. Only complete applications submitted with the required refundable deposit will be reviewed. To prevent delays, ensure your application meets all submission requirements.
 
Refundable Compliance Deposit
A deposit must be received before your review can begin. Please submit a check made out to Travisso Community using one of the following options:
  • Drop it off at the Palazzo office, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
  • Use the brown payment drop box just inside the Palazzo lobby doors (available after hours)
  • Mail it to: 2437 Travisso Parkway, Leander, TX 78641
Deposit Amounts:
  • $500 for all other projects
  • $1,500 for pools accessing the greenbelt or common areas
 
Applications will not be presented to the Review Committee until the deposit is received.

So you are ready to start a home project in Travisso? By following these guidelines and locating the necessary materials to prepare your plan, you can help yourself make the process efficient and simple. As in most things, preparedness is the key!
 
Which improvements need architectural approval?
All improvements made on the exterior of the home: paint color change, fencing, walls, patios, pool, play equipment - including trampolines and basketball goals, landscaping, additions, flagpoles, solar devices, flatwork, etc. See our community Design Guidelines for specifics.
 
What is the ACC refundable deposit fee?
The refundable compliance deposit is to ensure complete compliance with the plans approved by the Architectural Committee. All compliance deposits will be refunded upon Final Review by CCMC.
 
How do I know what is allowed in my community?
Read the rules and regulations pertaining to your community. These are available on your community website (without a login!). Please provide them to your contractor as well, as compliance with the rules is the responsibility of the Association member. If you do not understand the documents after you have read them, contact your community manager for more information.
 
Where do I get the forms that I need to get started?
The Travisso ACC Forms and Designs Guidelines are found on the community website. Contact us if you have any questions regarding a project or the ACC process.
 
Where do I need to submit my application?
All applications are submitted online, and all supporting documents—such as surveys, photos, and plans—can be uploaded directly within the application portal. Only complete applications submitted with the required refundable deposit will be processed. Please ensure your application meets all submission requirements to avoid delays in review.

What do I need to submit?
  • Survey/Site Plan with proposed improvements drawn on the plan 
  • Architectural Modification Application 
  • Neighbor Awareness Form (for pools and structures)
  • Pool Addendum (if applicable)
  • Pictures of your project or your project goals
  • Samples of materials to be used (if applicable)
  • The refundable deposit fee of $500, made payable to Travisso Community
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that plan submittals are complete.
  • Complete application must be received by Wednesday at noon to be considered for the next available meeting.
 
How long will it take to get a response to my plan?
The Architectural Review meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Any requests for additional information needed by the Architectural Reviewer, as well as a final approval or denial letter, will be emailed to you within three business days of the Architectural Review meeting.
